A rockin' day in the Republican Party. Perry drops out. Santorum the true winner in Iowa [Romney's win was projected without all of the ballots being counted]. And Gingrich's 2nd wife claiming Newt is a swinger.

I am looking for a bold move tonight. Santorum drops out LIVE on stage and endorses Newt. Romney pays Paul $10,000 to filibuster the rest of the night.

Who needs the Jersey Shore when we have the South Carolinian Beach?

Remember CNN is Obama friendly. Will the questions tonight be tougher on the Republicans? Game on.

Was Newt really mad at the moderator, or did he have all of that planned at the beginning?

Newt is one fired-up candidate tonight!

Sorry to say, Ron Paul has the best tie.

Romney seems to be avoiding saying anything negative about Newt. Does he think he has a guaranteed win in South Carolina?

Romney just suggested a bill where individuals own their personal healthcare, logistically speaking how effective will this bill be in shifting ownership of healthcare to individual citizens instead of the government or their employers?

The health care debate is like solving a Rubik's Cube blind folded. I am game for trying. Not sure these guys have a clue.

To answer his David's question in regards to effectiveness of transition of ownership, I think that businesses and the government won't have as hard a time relinquishing control over healthcare as much as it will be difficult on the end of the individual. To suddenly have to worry about one's own healthcare is an added stress to the already burden-heavy lives of many working citizens today. While the transition in feasible, I don't think that the individual citizen would be ready for such a drastic change in control.

Things are getting bitter between Romney and Gingrich each time they talk...

Santorum feels he can make manufacturing in America as inexpensive as that in China. Does he seriously think that's possible?

If he's able to reduce union protections, he thinks manufacturing in the US would cost less. Surprised be didn't reference BMW and Boeing plants in S.C. for that answer!

Romney ended on a downer. Seemed to know that he struggled.

I just have to say that I really thought Newt Gingrich handled the opening of that debate very well. He definitely had a sense of composure and was able to turn what was a seemingly ad hominem comment into something that strengthened his own cause. What I liked best about his opening was that he didn't try to justify his actions by any means, but turned it into something that related to more of the public as a whole.
